Introduction. Yamaha is of course one of the most famous manufacturers of quality musical instruments. Their attention to detail and quality is very much in the top rank of piano builders and has been for many years. This means when we buy a used Yamaha we know that it will still function reliably for very many years.

The Piano.  The U1 is the benchmark piano, all other pianos are all judged against this instrument. Yamaha cabinets are simple elegance. That Yamaha action is renown for its smoothness and easy usability. Our U1 here also has these excellent virtues with the added bonus of having a silent system fitted. It is a regular piano and at the flick of a switch it becomes a digital piano where you can play through the headphones.

As we all know these versatile instruments are in many ways the perfect piano, ideal for beginners right through to advanced musicians. This piano here is the U1 built in Japan 2006 and is particularly versatile given it has that wonderful silent system. Our lovely piano has the typical Yamaha action which is very satisfying to use and a wonderfully open, clear tone that is not too bright, but more sweetly singing.

The U1 measures at 121cm tall, 151cm long and 62cm deep. It has 88 keys and 3 pedals.

Purchase Options.  This piano is for sale at £7400. Our U1 pianos all come with free local delivery to a ground floor room, free stool, free first tuning and a 5 year warranty. It is also possible to spread payment over over a period of time, all interest free. Please get in touch to discuss other friendly options to help the family budget in these trying times.

Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £240 or if you prefer, you can pay a one-off fee of £1440. The balance is to be paid 6 months later and can also be paid over an agreed period.

This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.

Accessories. We have a collection of accessories which we hope will enhance your piano playing experience. There are caster cups which offer protection to your floors, a carpet to protect your piano from underfloor heating. We also offer lamps, polishes and cloths.
