Piano Dealer Croydon | Piano Lobby

Local piano shop within easy reach of Croydon

Based in south East London, Piano Lobby is an expert piano dealer in close proximity to Croydon. Founded by Julian Barber in 1993, our piano showroom was opened to the public in order for him to share his wealth of experience and help to successfully partner piano enthusiasts with the piano of their dreams.

As a professional pianist and piano teacher, Julian welcomes you to his new and refurbished piano shop in Forest Hill where you can view and try out our range of pianos and accessories so that you can be confident of the right choice.

Why visit our piano showroom?

Julian opened Piano Lobby so that he could connect with piano enthusiasts around the country, providing new and used upright and grand pianos to suit all budgets.

His expert advice is welcomed by everyone who visits the piano showroom; his extensive background as a professional pianist and piano teacher means that he can recommend a piano to each customer based on your skill level and home.

Our piano showroom showcases both used and new pianos, and are available to try out before you buy. If you have any questions, we are on hand to answer your queries with confidence so that you purchase knowing you’ve made the right choice. All of our pianos come with a guarantee for peace of mind.

Whether you’re ordering a new or used piano, we can deliver free of charge to a ground floor room of your choice if you’re within the M25 motorway. We also offer nationwide delivery, please enquire for prices.

We provide many new and refurbished pianos and every one we sell comes with a guarantee to put your mind at ease. Our refurbished Yamaha pianos are a popular choice for our customers. Or perhaps you are considering buying a new Hailun or Danemann piano instead? Our Bechstein  models come to you new, or you can choose from our range of refurbished Kawai digital pianos.

As well as Stormzy, other performers to have become popular from Croydon include Kirsty MacColl, David McAlmont, and FrankMusik.

An honourable mention goes to Kate Moss, who despite not ‘technically’ being a musician has appeared in music videos, sung on tracks by Primal Scream and the Lemonheads, co-written four Babyshambles songs, and even played tambourine on two tracks from Oasis’s ‘Be Here Now’ album.
