Introduction. Welmar was a British company building good quality pianos. The majority of their output was in the production of smaller pianos and they dominated the British market for many decades. Some of the later pianos saw the quality vary a little but the good ones have lasted.
The Piano. The Welmar you see pictured here was built in 1984 and is a particularly good example. It is in good condition with a lovely gentle design. The tone has a mellow quality, and the action is medium, light, and easy to use. If you are taking your first steps into playing piano, this piano is a very strong option.
It measures 110cm tall, 142cm long and 57cm deep.
Purchase Options. We are offering this piano for sale at £2300 which includes delivery, an adjustable stool, first tuning and a 3 year warranty. It is also possible to spread payment over over a period of time, all interest free. Please call for more information.
This piano is also available on our 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £90 or if you prefer, you can pay a one-off fee of £540. The balance of £1760 is to be paid 6 months later. This balance can then be paid over an agreed period.
This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.
Accessories. We have a collection of accessories which we hope will enhance your piano playing experience. There are caster cups which offer protection to your floors, a carpet to protect your piano from underfloor heating, lamps, polishes and cloths.
