Introduction. J Reid began supplying pianos in 1928 and as the business grew they started their own line of pianos. The pianos are built by the brilliant Samick company at their factory in Indonesia. The pianos are well designed and solidly built and reasonably priced making them an excellent choice for a piano in the home.
The Piano. This Reidsohn we have in stock was built in 1990 and is in superb condition. As you can see, it is a very traditional design with lovely proportions. The tone is medium bright with plenty of character and the action is very responsive which is very enjoyable to play. It is well equipped with 3 pedals, an 88 key keyboard and is completed with brass fittings.
It stands at 112cm tall, 148cm long and 56cm deep.
