Introduction. Petrof are now known around the world as leading builders of premium grade pianos. They are a Czech company that were established by Antonin Petrof in 1864. Their pianos became famous for the soft, gentle, rounded, and romantic tone. Production methods have changed over the years, but precise work by hand, careful selection of materials, means that the traditional sound endures. Many famous performers have enjoyed Petrof pianos of this family business, now in its fifth and sixth generation.

The Piano. Our example is a P173 from the Breeze collection of pianos. It is a beautiful elegant piano that makes an ideal home grand piano, but would be equally ideal for a music school practice room or small concert hall. It may be a smaller instrument relative to a full concert grand piano, however this conceals within itself a splendid, rich, and surprisingly powerful tone. The action has been set up smoothness and ease of usability.  This wonderful piano was built in 1988 and is in excellent condition.

This piano measures at 152.5cm wide, 173cm long and 102cm high. It has 88 keys and 3 pedals.

Purchase Options.  This piano is for sale at £6500. It comes with free local delivery to a ground floor room, free stool, free first tuning and a 5 year warranty. Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £215 or a one off payment of £1290. The balance to be paid 6 months later can be paid over an agreed period.

This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.
