KEMBLE. Ideal compact starter piano

Introduction. Kemble was set up in North London in 1911 by Michael Kemble, an area rich in piano manufacture. Business grew and they moved to larger modern premises in Bletchley enabling further growth. Yamaha became involved in 1968 to further develop the business, a joint venture which became known as Yamaha-Kemble Music Ltd. By 1985 Kemble were making pianos for Yamaha, however in 2009 production was moved to Indonesia. At least production of pianos using the Kemble name has survived.

The Piano. Kemble pianos are known for really good build quality and a lovely tone. The tone of Kembles are generally more mellow and our piano is a good example of this. You can feel the Yamaha influence as the action is smooth and easy to use. This piano here is quite compact, it has been restored and painted giving it a cool modern finish. It was built in 1998 and is a great choice as  a student piano for the home.

This piano measures at 110cm tall, 140.5cm long and 56cm deep. It has 88 keys and 3 pedals.

Purchase Options.  This piano is for sale at £1900 and comes with free local delivery to a ground floor room, free stool, free first tuning and a 5 year warranty. Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £80 or a one off payment of £480. The balance to be paid 6 months later can be paid over an agreed period.

This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.

Accessories. We have a collection of accessories which we hope will enhance your piano playing experience. There are caster cups which offer protection to your floors, a carpet to protect your piano from underfloor heating. We also offer lamps, polishes and cloths.
