Introduction. Calisia is a Polish piano builder that can trace its history back nearly 200 years. The earliest pianos dated from around the early 1820s in Kalisz where their workshops built and repaired pianos. As we understand it, there were a number of piano companies in this town, Calisia grew out of them continuing the local piano traditions and was the last of the piano factories operating in Poland. Since 2010 pianos with the Calisia name have been made in China.
The Piano. The piano here is a compact model designed to appeal to starter through to intermediate pianists. They are well built instruments, robust and long lasting making them an ideal family piano in the home. I have come across many Calisia pianos over the years and they have all been decent hard working instruments. This piano was built in 1984, it is in good condition and produces a clear medium tone from its medium light action.
This piano stands at 108cm tall, 148cm long and 56cm deep.
Purchase Options. We have this piano for sale at £1900. This price includes delivery, an adjustable stool, first tuning and a 3 year warranty. It is possible to spread payments over time, all interest free. Give us a call to discuss which option would work best for you.
Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £70 or if you prefer, you can pay a one-off fee of £420. The balance can then be paid over an agreed period period of time.
This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional chargeill be made.
