Introduction. John Brimsmead founded his piano company in 1836 and had a number of premises until they had a factory in Kentish Town, London in 1870. Following bankruptcy in 1920, they were bought by Cramer and this company was bought by Kemble in 1960. They are known for the superiority of their design and manufactoring methods.

The Piano. This is a compact model built in the UK in around 1975. It measures 101cm tall, 136cm long and 49.5cm deep making it ideally sized for the home. It has 88 keys, brass finishings, 2 pedals and the cabinet has a lovely polished natural wood finish.

It produces a warm, but clear sweet tone and the action is fairly light to the touch making this piano a really good choice for starter to early advanced pianists.

Purchase Options. We are offering this piano for sale at £1900 which includes delivery, an adjustable stool, first tuning and a 3 year warranty. It is also possible to spread payment over time, all interest free.

Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £80 or if you prefer, you can pay as a one-off fee of £480. The balance is to be paid 6 months later, this can be paid over an agreed period.

This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.
