Introduction. The original Gors and Kallmann company was established in Berlin in 1877. They were well known as producers of good quality pianos, traditional in style with a rich tone quality. The modern Gors and Kallmann pianos are still very good and aim to keep the qualities of their traditional past.
The Piano. This grand piano we have in stock is modest in size, 150cm, but it is a good quality instrument built very well with wonderful components. It was built in around 1926 in Germany, but has been been very well cared for and has received sensitive restoration. The action has received extensive regulation work, rollers replaced, new felt on the hammers, it has been restrung and the frame has been regilded. It has a beautiful finish as you can see from the photogrphs.
Our Gors and Kallmann it is delightful to play, with a really smooth responsive very sorted action. The resonant tone has that beautiful Gors and Kallmann sound, and it feels wonderful to play.
Purchase Options. We are offering this piano for sale at £2900 which includes delivery, an adjustable stool, first tuning and a 3 year warranty. It is also possible to spread payment over time, all interest free. Delivery is free to a ground floor room.
Customers can also rent this piano on a 6-month scheme which carries the option of purchase at the end of the term. There is a monthly rental fee of £135 or if you prefer, you can pay a one-off fee of £810. The balance of £2090 is to be paid 6 months later. This balance can then be paid over an agreed period.
This scheme is a great way to out try having a piano in your home. If you decide that piano playing isn’t for you, we will simply collect the piano and no additional charge will be made.
Accessories. We have a collection of accessories which we hope will enhance your piano playing experience. There are caster cups which offer protection to your floors, a carpet to protect your piano from underfloor heating, lamps, polishes and cloths.
